A Japanese Sunrise Walk Tradition
I convinced Sarah to wake up with me this morning at 7:30am and look at the Sunrise. We couldn't completely see the sun from our driveway, so we walked around the neighborhood and eventually around the Catholic Church and back home. I learned from Meg Irvine that watching the sunrise in the morning on the first day of the New Year is a Japanese Tradition. Cool to uphold a Japanese Tradition.
Sarah hasn't been feeling very good all day, including having thrown up like 5 times today. I hope she starts feeling better. I drew her sleeping in bed today.
I've also been using my tablet to draw other things. The other day we were gifted a Chinese money envelope with $100 in it. We were flabbergasted by the generosity and anonymity of the person or persons who would give up their money for us at this time of year. I drew the envelope.
On Christmas I did go to Mass, so I drew the Mass.
