SLO Youth Symphony Performance of March 2026

At the San Luis Obispo United Methodist Church, Ben, Marcus, Annabelle, and David participated in the SLO Youth Symphony. David was acting as a coach for the violas, of which Marcus was a part of. They did a good job. A favorite story is that David's sheet music was covered up and therefore he was reading off of Marcus' in the middle of the concert, but he had to do a squat to be able to see the music. He was very subtle though and only a few noticed. Another thing I like is that they had a flautist that they played with who was amazing and she played the Solo of the Mozart Flute Concerto No. 1. Also, Annabelle's portion of the symphony they did a song where even though they were playing instruments, they vocalized a hey in a tribal way. It was a good time.
