First Ever Diamondbacks Game with the Colemans

Doug and Roxanne Coleman invited Sarah and me to a Diamondbacks game at Chase Field in Phoenix.

We took the tram that runs from Mesa to Phoenix. The first car that we got on was a hot one because they didn't have the AC working. That didn't work for Doug so Sarah gave him the idea that we could switch cars when the train had stopped. We did and it was much better. Then halfway to the arena the conductor said that they need us to switch trams because of that problem, so we did. Doug ran to get seats and I was close behind him. Roxanne almost went to another car if it hadn't been for Sarah guiding her to where we had gone.

Besides the fact that we lost 8-3, the game turned out pretty good. There was this batter that kept on hitting foul balls to our side of the seats. We were sitting on the left side of the dugout in really good seats. We could see really well. The Colemans are huge fans of the Diamondbacks and so they had Season tickets that they can invite people to.

They also have all the gear associated with the Diamondbacks. They brought 4 of their cups that helps the owners get discounted drinks at the register. For the Novelty, Sarah found out where in the arena she could acquire foot long hot dogs and got one with cheese sauce, bacon, and tater tots for us. On the way to pick up the hot Dog, she bumped into Jenn Pierce from Casteel High School. They, along with other choir members were there to sing the National Anthem at the game.

It was a good night and we found out about brother Colemans fascination with some minor league baseball teams such as the Abilene Flying Bisons and another one.
