The First Third of May 2026

Sarah and I were able to go to the spa up in Avila Beach. I wish I had taken more pictures of the surrounding area because it was just a magical looking place. Stairs with trees growing by them that led to the jacuzzis. Sarah and I had a magical time just talking and swimming in the Spa.

Our ward had a Progressive Dinner. Until this outing, I had no idea what a progressive dinner was. Sarah and I made mini-quiche that were so good for the appetizer portion that was held at the Andreadakis' house. Everyone joined there to start and eat appetizers and chit-chat about everything. And then we were asked to depart and separate into our own groups. We were asked to go to the Taff's house. They went all out with the place settings. They had tags for each person's place. What's crazy is Sarah and my tags were with our wedding colors. We had Chicken Parmagianna, croissant rolls, asparagus, and carrots. Brother Taff told crazy stories of working at UPS, as well as meeting Michael Jackson at Neverland Ranch. It was nice because he welcomed me into his home. The participants in our group were Nelly and her husband, Steve; the Elders, Sister Drake (brother Drake was sick), and the Taff's daughter and son-in-law. Then, as we concluded our dinner out at the Taff's house, we headed to the Bishop's house for dessert.

We celebrated David's birthday.

Went to go watch Michael with Henry Schroff and his brother. Enjoyed the movie immensely and had a great time. I had a good time the next day going out to lunch with Henry. Grateful for the friendship he has for me.

Sunny got my card and watercolor painting in the mail and just about made my day.
