The Death of King Charles the III, the Guinea Pig
For several weeks, Marcus had done a lot of research to get and care for guinea pigs. He found a sanctuary that they put in his room and was able to really make it spacious living for the two guinea pigs that he got. He called one of the guinea pigs, Jim Bob, and the other King Charles the III, at the suggestion of Sarah. Also, King Charles had a crown atop his head, so it was very fitting.
So, it was very sad when the week of the 17th, King Charles passed away in Marcus' arms a couple of weeks later.
The whole family held a funeral for him in the back yard, with kind words of condolences, as well as musical numbers, and the impact that King Charles had on our lives. All Creatures Bright and Beautiful, all creatures great and small! Marcus' friends were in attendance, including Jam-o and Logan, as well as the Terrazas and the Garzas. The Garza's son played taps on the bugle. Danielle played God Save the King on the flute.
