Sunset Piano Concert on Pismo Beach by Mind Travel ~ Grace

Sarah was able to get me a ticket to the Sunset Piano Concerts on Pismo Beach put on by Mind Travel. It was so cool because the piano player played a continual stream of piano for over an hour and half. If it hadn't been cloudy, we would've seen the sunset. But it was cloudy, so it got a little misty at times but it was some really cool ambience. And it was really cool seeing the people that were there enjoying hearing someone play the piano in their headphones. It was light music.

My favorite part was that at the end of the hour and a half, he still continued to play the piano. But at the beginning of the concert, he started by dedicating his playing to an intention, and that intention was Grace. So after the hour and a half, he continued playing, but started quietly speaking into the microphone into everyone's ears, a monologue about Grace, which I decided to write down. I missed the first few lines, but this is how it went:

Grace can be found in the way we listen, in the way we love,
In the Way we move from grief,
Getting up when we least want to.
Maybe Grace sometimes needs the messy for it to arise.
Grace accepts even when we don't.
Grace forgives especially when we don't forgive ourselves.
Grace heals - we cannot hold grace and grievance in one hand.
Grace is a letting go and in this way grace offers freedom.
Sometimes Grace can see a further horizon with eyes closed.
What is it to move through life with Grace?
Giving Grace, receiving Grace, Being Grace,
May we have grace for our parents in their presence and in their passing.
May we have grace for our children, in their cheer, in their care, and in their challenge.
In this silent communion, not when no words are available, but when are words are and none are chosen,
After the struggle, after the giving up, there's a giving in, a reunion.
As the past and the future fade away, and we're left right here, and we see how beautiful it is, how magical it is, how wonderful it is.
How Precious,
How fragile it is, how fragile, how fragile,
There is none, there is no distance.

We then walked on the pier. And proceeded to lose my water bottle, haha, but it was nice being with Sarah on the Pier, and just talk to her in the darkness and hearing the waves.
