Taft College Dental Cleaning Numbers 2 and 3
We went to the town of Taft, a second time, to get our teeth cleaned. We were hoping that it would be done in one sitting, since we had gotten all the preliminaries out of the way, but that's not how it worked. Cassie, and Sarah's original worker, were both first year dental students, so they didn't get things done as fast as our second day in Taft College's dental students. The funny thing is my dental student was a second year student named Kasaundra, Kassie for short. Cassie and Kassie were so nice and it was a pleasure to work with them. We stayed the night at Holland Inn. And in the morning I did a solo walk around Taft. Then, after checking out, Sarah and I went on a walk around downtown Taft. It is a quaint little town, where a lot is not happening. But it is cute. There were a bunch of cats strolling the streets. We also helped out this lady named Amanda with getting food. As you'll see from the pictures, this town started as an oil town. They still have pumps. When we finally returned home, we had read Julia Trefflich's mission letters, and got ourselves a Reese's Fast Break from Albertsons. With the talking and the sweet, it definitely was a good way to end our little trip.
