Mid-winter Break SLO and Dinosaurs Cave Park Trip

We took a day trip to SLO and Dinosaurs Cave Park (a favorite place of ours for its incredible views). In SLO, we went to the Tiki Hut to get lunch. We then went to the The Boba Stop and Cosmic Heroes (a comic book store). Then we parked in downtown SLO and went to a thrift store there as well as a hiking/camping store. We walked around downtown to go to Barnes and Noble and near B&N there was a pizza shop which had a sign outside for pizza fries. We asked how many fries we would get in this and they showed us a small-ish plate but the waiter said it would be packed higher than the rim. Well, that was not true. It was well below the rim. And who thinks to put ketchup in pizza fries; at least top it with marinara and more than just 4 pepperonis. We were not happy with it and Sarah went to talk to them about it and they gave us some more free of charge, but it was a bit tainted by the row we had with them. We did get a cool picture in front of some really cool wall with a wallpaper of houses on it.

Dinosaurs Cave Park was nice but really cool in temperature as the sun was going down. However, the views were spectacular. And we got a picture in the pergola. We do love this place that is really close to the beach and has amazing views. We played around and raced each other back to the car.

One of the things I got Sarah for Valentines Day was a couple question game and we now have it in the car and draw the cards to see what questions it will ask us from questions that are Deep, Deeper, and Icebreakers. This is one of the things we did on our drive home.
