Oso Flaco Lake Hike on MLKJ day

 

On Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, I took Sarah on a hike at Oso Flaco Lake and San Dunes. It is about a 2.75 mile in and out hike to the beach. We read the spanish and english signs on the way. We put our feet in the water and were surprised to see a wash coming from the Lake to the Beach, because the time we were there before, which was when we visited the first times, there was no flow of water from the Lake.

Sarah took a run on the beach as well.

On the walk back, Sarah took off her shoes and her feet got super dirty. We also discovered that the flip flop we had brought for Sarah was missing. We found it at the car on the pavement. We think somebody ran it over accidentally with their car.
