Family Home Evening, A New New Era--and late night Albertson's Scavenger Hunt
In my patriarchal blessing it says that as the leader of my household, I should hold Family Home Evening, among do other things, and just recently I felt the impression to start doing it again.
We started on January 26th, Monday Night, after we went to the gym, which was already 9pm-ish. We held our first commemorative family home evening in the Albertson's parking lot because Sarah had something up her sleeve.
It was a very spiritual night. We sang Were You There?, one of the newer hymns and then we talked about it for a while. I also got emotional talking about it.
The thing Sarah had up her sleeve was doing a Target (turned into Albertson's) late night scavenger hunt where we find things about our partner. Favorite Snack, Drink, Something that Reminds them of you, their favorite color, something you wish them to try, a magazine you'd like to read with them, etc. The pictures are our spoils. We did not end up purchasing any of the items, haha.
