Paper Bag Game, Trefflich Style and a Strawberry Angel Cake
On Tuesday, we had Family Home Evening, It was a really spiritual one. David shared the story of how David, of the Bible, was chosen to be the next king. How the prophet Samuel looked at his heart, instead of his Stature, and trusted in God, and how we and his children are people with a heart worthy of God's love. How, from Psalms 24, we can have clean hands and pure heart and enter into God's presence. I was touched.
The Trefflichs couldn't think of a game, so Sarah asked me if we knew any games, and then she remembered that growing up I played the "Paper Bag" game. Then fun ensued. Danielle even got in on the action, but I didn't get a picture of her. This is a game I would play with the Knudsen's growing up. Where we would bend over and pick up a paper bag with our mouths and then rip off any size piece that we touched from with our mouth. Sarah and I got out quickly, but I think the ultimate winners were Marcus and Danielle; Marcus because he's so small, and Danielle because she is so agile.
Then we ate Strawberry Angel Cake that Sarah and I prepared.
