A Made Up FHE Driveway Racquet ball game, Racquetball with the Boys, and Dr. Appoointments
This week has been a good one. The boys came up with a game that involved being outside in the driveway, playing with a ball and racquets for Family Home Evening. It was pretty fun. I volunteered the use of my two racquetball racquets. They also aske if they could use my racquetballs. I said sure, not knowing that they would lose my two balls over the fence. I should've know that that might happen, since they are so bouncy. However, the next day Ben went to ask the neighbor if he could find the balls, he found one. Anyways, we did a tournament of doubles, It was the boys against the two girls. The boys won. Then it was adults, DK againsg SandJ. Sarah and I lost, and then I don't remember who won, except now I do, it was the boys, but it was because David threw the game to keep the peace.
Well, afterwards, the boys asked me if I'd like to play actualy racquetball, so the next day or so we Ben and I went to go play for an hour. Then Marcus wanted to go play the next day. And so for the next two days afterwards leading to Friday, we played racquetball. It has been a good exercise, playing with the boys, and they've been getting better and better. Today, at the beginning of our time in the court at the Y, Ben hit the ball and it rushed towards my eye. Fortunately I was wearing glasses, but it still did leave a mark and some blood on the glasses.
Sarah and I went to Kirsten's Monday Body Pump. And Sarah went to Body Pump on Thursday when I was with the boys. It was a great time and my quads hurt from all the lungeing. But it was a really cool time. I wish I could've gone on Thursday, but the boys wanted to come with me to play racquetball. Hopefully, I'll be able to do some next week.
Sarah and I went to our doctor appointments in Guadalupe with Dr. Kyaw. Sarah felt really good about her, but then we found out that she's a traveling doctor and will not be there after July. I refilled my prescription (which was just in time), as well as got things for other things, including today I got a blood pressure cuff for high blood pressure. I'm actually excited about that, even though having high blood pressure is not good. I love blood pressure machines.
We've been going to the library a lot, whether it be Orcutt, or Santa Maria (we also went to the Guadalupe library after our doctor appointments (which was after we went to the Mexican bakery across the way)). I've been working on getting the credential things worked on, like writing personal affidavits, as well as others for people that I want to confirm things from them, like GSM, or Forrest, or Tommy Strawser.
