Our Trip to SLO and Tallarin Saltado for Dinner

On Tuesday, the 27th, I really wanted to go to SLO, mainly to go to the used bookstore called Phoenix Books, but also to check out SLO downtown. We parked in a parking garage and we went for a walk. We went to Phoenix Books. On the outside it looks like there could be a lot of children books inside, but when you go in there there is this one little section of children's books. They did have a lot of books in their selection. I took a look at a book about Everest because the day or two before, our lesson in Priesthood was kinda about Everest and planning our Gospel path by doing the preparation beforehand (i.e. reading your scriptures, praying, making and keeping covenants with God, enduring to the end).

After going to Phoenix Books, Sarah and I started walking the downtown scene. We enjoyed going to Lululemon, as well as Pottery Barn. We also had reminiscence of when we went to Pottery Barn on our Honeymoon. I was fascinated by the candles that were fake but still looked like they had fire in them. Afterwards, we went to SLO Olive, which was a nice Olive Oil store. I was able to try jalapeno infused Olive Oil, and some Pineapple Balsamic Vinegar. It was quite tasty. Sarah decided not to try this time because she was fasting.

Then we saw a lego store "Bricks & Minifigs." We walked through the store. Sarah made a little figurine. And then I found a figurine.

On the drive home, Sarah listened to her 12 Keys Business Class with Naomi Fox Reina.

That same night, we made Tallarin Saltado de pollo. Sarah needed to work on her 12 Keys, so I took over in finishing the dinner. It was great! The whole family loved it. Marcus even took it to school to eat the next day.
