First Few Days in Santa Maria and Job Offerings

Sarah and I have adopted life living in Orcutt, CA, at David and Kirsten's house. Including doing the different designated zone yard work.

We also watched conference with the family.

We went to go check out the new school that I will be working at: Patterson Rd Elementary School.

We've gone to some baseball games for Ben (cubs) and Marcus (angels).

We also went to the Stake Choir practice, and besides practicing pieces from the Cantata that Sarah grew up with, as well as me becoming the default piano player for them, I was offered a position as Accompanist for the Coastal Voices choir, which is a choir of relatively more aged people. They need someone soon to be their new accompanist because their normal accompanist has a foot injury and is moving away. I am pretty sure that I am going to take the job. They pay $75 per 2 hour rehearsal, $200 for first concert, and $100 for second concert. They are a non-profit organization.

Also, Kirsten was talking to Ben's and Marcus' violin teacher and she recommended that I apply to work for a Summer program. I just got a call today about whether or not I want to be a teacher for their K-2 groups. I think I might take the opportunity, plus they said that they offer individual private lessons as well.
