Valentines Day 2025 at Bobby Q's and Somewhat Missed Sealing, and an Emotional Choir High

Yesterday, after ASC, I came away with a choir high! I felt so good an I was trying to examine why I had felt so awesome afterwards. I was talking with Sarah about it and I said that I think it is because Forrest has given me more autonomy to run the Gilbert locale. I have to prepare more because I can't just count on Forrest to be there to bail me out when I don't know the music. It has given me, compared to the previous semesters, an opportunity to take the music even more seriously than I have taken it in the past. All that to say that the time spent at ASC yesterday was really good. I was hardly nervous at all. I had arrived 5 minutes late, but I still took over from the beginning with everything that we were doing. I felt good doing it, too.

Yesterday, Sarah and I also completed our knuts and bolts chess set activity with the boys. After making two errors in buying the knuts and bolts and going to Home Depot to pick up the last 10 bolts, we finally had completed them, and it was awesome. All the boys loved it. Sarah spent the last fifteen minutes of the activity spray painting the sets for the boys. I'm glad that it all worked out.

Today, for Valentine's Day, Sarah and I went to Bobby Q's for lunch. We ordered Baby back Ribs, Brisket, and Sausage with Potato Salad and Macaroni and Cheese. All very good. On our way home, we checked to see when the Gipper's sealing was going to be (which was also happening today), but come to find out, we had put it in our calendars wrong. We had it for 7:30pm, and it was actually at 3:30pm. So we high-tailed it to the Gilbert Temple to try to make the sealing but arrived too late. We did arrive in time to take some pictures with the family and friends as they were leaving the temple.  Some of the friends we talked to besides the Gippers, were the Klinglers, Andersons, Brother Mow, Brother Stender, and Sister Urias and Rosskellys.

We've also decided that we want to become puzzle people, so we gathered some puzzles from buy nothing aj, and we've been working on a Lake Tahoe puzzle.
